Clinical Operational Guide

How ArogyaOS powers your daily clinic workflow

Follow the development preview from clinic setup to the final follow-up. The walkthrough uses fictional clinic and patient records.

  1. STEP 01

    Clinic Registration & Profile Setup

Create your clinic workspace by specifying the practice name, specialty, address, and primary contact phone number. Set working days and daily consultation shifts.

    Operational Details

    • Define clinic hours for morning and evening consultation sessions
    • Configure consultation slot duration (default 15, 30, or 45 minutes)
    • Set custom no-show grace period before auto-canceling absent bookings
Status: Clinic setup is demonstrated with sample data. Production registration and cloud sync are pending.
  2. STEP 02

    Staff Role Assignment

Add clinical doctors and front-desk receptionists with clear permission boundaries. Doctors access consultation notes; receptionists manage queues and bookings.

    Operational Details

    • Assign Doctor role for diagnosing, writing clinical notes, and completing visits
    • Assign Receptionist role for patient check-in, booking, and token issuance
    • Multi-doctor mapping allows different doctors to run concurrent sessions
Status: Role switching is demonstrated locally. Production sign-in and permissions are pending.
  3. STEP 03

    Appointment Booking & Calendar Scheduling

Receptionists or doctors book advance appointments in seconds. The scheduling engine validates doctor availability and prevents conflicting double-bookings.

    Operational Details

    • Instant calendar view with morning and afternoon slot availability
    • Search returning patients by phone number to auto-fill details
    • Record chief complaint and visit reason prior to patient arrival
Status: The development preview demonstrates scheduling conflict checks.
  4. STEP 04

    Walk-in Arrival & Queue Tokens

When patients arrive at the clinic, receptionists check them in with a single tap. Walk-in arrivals without pre-booked slots receive an orderly sequential token.

    Operational Details

    • Sequential tokens display the order of walk-in arrivals
    • Real-time queue screen displays arrived, waiting, and in-consultation status
    • Queue status helps reception communicate who is waiting
Status: The preview demonstrates tokens and arrival status using a sample queue.
  5. STEP 05

    Doctor Consultation & Clinical Notes

The doctor calls the next patient from the dashboard queue. The doctor reviews previous visit history, enters consultation notes, and logs clinical findings.

    Operational Details

    • One-tap consultation start marks patient as In Consultation
    • Review chronological history of prior clinic visits and prescriptions
    • Record diagnosis, clinical summary, and vital signs
Status: Consultation notes are demonstrated with fictional records.
  6. STEP 06

    Follow-up Planning

Before completing the visit, the doctor selects a recommended follow-up return date. The clinic workspace tracks patients due for review to ensure clinical continuity.

    Operational Details

    • Preset return intervals (3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month) or custom date
    • Dedicated Follow-ups view lists upcoming patient returns by week
    • Review upcoming visits alongside the original consultation
Status: Follow-up dates and filters are demonstrated with sample visits.
